Re: Whose Side Are The Police Really On?
That's horrible Art, I hate losing anything and a bag is so personal.Re: Whose Side Are The Police Really On?
That's terrible Art, but if I am to be honest, I have never had a great deal of faith in the UK police. Friends of ours were once burgled in broad daylight, they lived in a quiet cul de sac. The burglers actually removed the front door and took everything they could lay their hands on. When our friends phoned the police they were told "phone your insurance company, what do you expect us to do". The husband told the police he expected them to come and see the damage and take fingerprints, he was told "that only happens in TV programmes" !Re: Whose Side Are The Police Really On?

There was something on the news about a rule (Law?) controlling social behaviour, being abused by local councils, to the extent, a lady got jailed for six months for being Homeless. The question that ran through my mind, having watched numerous programmes of the Police Chase ilk, that a youth can steal a car, spend two hours wrecking havoc, driving at indecent speeds, on the wrong side of the road, endangering innocent Human Life, damaging public property (Police Cars), and when taken to Court, get a slap on the wrist.Re: Whose Side Are The Police Really On?
I understand all of the feelings towards police but shouldn't we delve a little deeper into the problem?
