Zoopla

little tip

Zoopla estimates your house price. Why let everyone know what it is worth? you can change the valuation easily by signing in and altering the price. It also allows you to alter everything else such as against having a pocket size garden You can alter it to many acres.

Re: Zoopla

I think it's a great idea for both buyer and seller,,..the buyer can see the growth in value and the seller can use it to show a potential buyer what an investment it could be....unless you live n an area with little growth in value.

The Market rules Ok, not a Web Site that can only sort historical data, falsifying the data will have no impact on any Real market value, and may that long be the case.

Re: Zoopla

Zoopla can put any price on my flat if they want, but the actual value is dictated by the housing association. They DO tend to look at others in the area, but we can never inflate the price in the hope of making money. Their surveyor gives their valuation, and we have to stick to it, so anything Zoopla may come up with could well be false.

The downside of shared ownership.

Re: Zoopla

See, what I find bonkers, on programmes like Escape to the Country is, the punters start off with a budget, say £500k, which presumably is part funded by some sort of agreed in principle Mortgage, they are then shown a property that needs work for say £400k, and the presenter says, that will give you a budget of £100k to sort it out, not if it's being mortgaged it won't cos the cash didn't exist in the first place.

Very true jazzi and not the only downside IMO too. Still it's a roof and that's not to be sneezed at these days.
