Government punishes sick & disabled 'for the sake of it'.

The despicable barstewards in the scumbag 'nasty party' have been found to be punishing those who have been adjudged to sick or disabled to work.

Re: Government punishes sick & disabled 'for the sake of it'.

"A report by the National Audit Office in 2016 found that there was no evidence that sanctions work or that the system is saving the taxpayer money.

And in some ways, this makes it worse.

When a sanction system has no tangible use, it’s simply hurting disabled claimants for the sake of it.

This is Britain’s “safety net”: one that persecutes sick and disabled people."

It's been clear for ages it's not saving money at all, the austerity is a Tory party policy nothing to do with anything else.

When you look at profits the private companies make out of testing the disabled you can clearly see it's not saving any money to take away the few pounds they have been living on.

If it is possible for people to work they should do so, imo.

I dont think anyone is disputing that.
But a doctor, not a profit making agency is the person who should judge and decide what is "possible".

I breathed a sigh of relief the day i became entitled to Pension Credit and got away from the work programme training, which taught people how to brush the floor in the £shop. If you missed you were sanctioned.

Glad you made it Sam, some don't, deaths shouldn't be so common as they are for claimants but sadly they are.
