Just got a text from my bank today

Its not just the Bank of England Tenners , the Scottish fivers and tenners are also being withdrawn on March 1st

If you have any old tenners you will have to take them to the bank to get them exchanged.

I believe some interesting looking 10p coins are being issued today.

I think I prefer the old Tenners and Fivers to the new ones. It seems that once you’ve had them in your wallet for a while they become so creased up they are annoying.
