I'd say to anyone who thinks that is best for their own child, and can manage it, as it seems to require real dedication to do it .... go for it. You're investing in their future for them.

I was fortunate when I was home schooling our son, our daughter was a primary school teacher and he was permitted to take part in some school outings, with me acting as a helper. During his secondary school years, my husband was a secondary school head teacher and we went on a couple of school trips, one to Paris and another to Austria. Again I was a helper.
