Hasn't our countryside already been ruined with electricity pylons striding over it and and every available hill filled with wind turbines. Not to mention nuclear power stations necessary to fulfill the ever increasing need for energy from mostly naysayers who object to any other means of energy production. At least fracking is a long way underground with very little evidence on the surface. We are sitting on enough energy to supply us for the next fifty years but we prefer to buy it from the French and Germans......
Yes, by all means stop fracking, but only if you are prepared to get rid of all of your dishwashers, microwaves and other unnecessary electrical labour saving devices.
Instead of moaning about fracking why don't you try to think of ways to produce energy that won't impact on the environment....
