Re: Is there a serial killer at work on the waterways of Manchester?

They seem to pull people out of the Severn on a regular basis not very pleasent to witness if you happen to be walking past (I have seen a couple in Upton over the years) .

Some deaths are intentional many unexplained but I don't think there is a serial killer roaming the banks of the river looking for people to push in .

Given the relative populations of Manchester and Shrewsbury, the figures are not that different.

If you fancy doing some investigating yourself Tpin, you could combine it with some fishing, there are some very big carp here

Fished there many times, it used to be a well kept secret, pike are a good size, too.

Nope, I am not the investigative type and certainly not brave enough to put myself in harm's way.

The Police would not announce the existence of a serial killer on such a scale.
For a start that would put pressure on them to catch him/her.
It would also make the crime figures seem more appalling than it already is, what with the regular shooting incidents.
The number of deaths average one a month over 6 years, far too many to be classed as a mere coincidence.
