Thanks Nom, Mups & Twink for your wishes.

I managed to get round Sainsbury's and get a last minute Christmas lunch so hopefully she will be up for that by tomorrow. If not, I'll be eating a lot of sprouts on my own.

I would say, maybe a very slight improvement within the past hour so fingers crossed.

I will keep my fingers crossed too...but I will never be able to carve my roast beef like that so I hope she is better very soon.
