Re: Double Voting Investigation

The fact that students voted twice..... and then boasted about it on FB just goes to prove how 'bright' they are.

Hardly. More simple arrogance and immaturity and a mind set that geared around cheating and doing anything and everything to get their own way instead of taking their place in an established society and playing by the democratic rules.

I did find your reply funny. I just hope you really did mean it as a joke.

It isn't, but I suspect that most of them did, especially when Comrade Corbyn offered free university tuition.

Re: Double Voting Investigation

i don't think it is that uncommon for people to have 2 votes. If one owns two houses in different areas and claim both the be their main place of residence they get on the electoral roll in both places. then issued with a voting slip in each and even do a postal vote to one or the other

Re: Double Voting Investigation

who is going to check? voting is secret, or supposed to be.

Say one home is in Surrey and another in Cornwall and both claimed to be a main residence I would say impossible to cross check
Maybe with electronic voting a possibility but not the way it is done now
