Theresa May now second most unpopular Tory in Cabinet after support in party collapse

Seems some oif the scumbag 'nasty party' are now sharpening their knives, ready to stab their unpopular Prime Minister in the back.

I wonder, is this history repeating itself??? - didn't the scumbag 'nasty party' do exactly the same with the wicked witch of the west???

Many suffered too much to ever do that muddy. Personally yes I have respect but I have more for the living who still suffer than the dead.

Theresa May could still be one of the all time greats on a par with Margaret Thatcher. True she's dropped a couple of real bloopers and she's not the most gregarious of politicians, but being nice doesn't win any prizes or run a country.

Hopefully her strength of character and tenacity will see her through this rough patch, and if she got the backing she needs from the party then we would stand a lot better chance of getting a reasonable result from Brexit, which has to be the most important thing on the agenda for the country at the moment.

All power to her, I wish her every success.

I liked her when she came to power, thought she spoke a lot of sense and was only hope of a brexit we can live with, but I'm not so sure now.

Hi

Personally, I think she is a 24 carat incompetent Politician.

The worst Home Secretary we have ever had, an arrogant, unlistening person, who has failed to deliver on anything she has ever promised and who has absolutely no empathy with her staff or ordinary people.

This was amply demonstrated in her disastrous Election campaign and even more so in her utterly appalling response to Grenfell.

I absolutely loathe her, a complete disaster.

She does however have one saving grace, she is infinitely better than the alternative, which is Corbyn.

You obviously have had more contact with Theresa than I have Swim, and at first I thought she was just what the country needed. But considering the effect she had on border control while she was home secretary, and then the disastrous result following the recent general election I'm beginning to wonder if she is indeed up to the job.....How long should she be let loose on the world stage before someone says 'Enough is enough?' Having said that though, who else have we got? Boris? I don't think so!...

Re: Theresa May now second most unpopular Tory in Cabinet after support in party collapse

This is a bit of a desperate post by the Jurassic belligerent one TBH.

Really who cares who runs the Conservative party? I mean really?

I have absolutely no feeling about Teresa May, she's just a politician. Not particularly charismatic, not inspiring, but she's there to do a job and thankfully she's getting on with it. That is what is needed at this time.

If the rest of the party want to oust her and put someone else up, hey that's fine. Just keep on getting the job done.

Pitched against that, as Swimfeeders highlights, is the IRA supporting Corbyn. A man prepared to bribe the country's youth (with false promises) in order to fool them into voting for him. A hard left wing socialist who would, if given the chance, ruin this country completely, much as BLiar and Brown did in their tenures. Thankfully the majority of the nation is wise to his reprehensible past history, his socialist ethos and his true allegiances. So he won't ever get the chance to ruin Britain.

Let the Tory party sharpen its knives and put a better leader in place by all means. That's all good.

The complete irony of UJ's post is that this IS EXACTLY WHAT THE LOONEY LABOUR PARTY NEED TO DO. They should be busy getting Corbyn ousted because it was HE and he alone that single handedly caused Looney Labour to get the appalling election result it did ! A mere 262 seats, no better than they achieved 7 years ago in the 2010 election.

It seems clear that Looney Labour haven't learned anything in all those years and looking at the total denial in the Looney Labour camp about the election, it looks clear that they will go on learning nothing right into the next election whenever that happens. More fool them.

Labour had the help of a bribed youth vote
Labour had the help of Remainers voting tactically
Labour had the help of students illegally voting more than once

AND STILL they didn't perform any better than they did 7 years ago in the 2010 election.

Looney Labour - Unfit to govern.

And the problem with capitalism ? Those at the top eventually end up with all the money. Those at the bottom no longer buy anything.
