Autonomousness

Should autonomous folks, attach to other beings on a emotional level, then detach, if the fancy takes?

But I could be agreeing to signing my life away, or spending six months on a deserted island, with only the wildlife for company or, heaven forbid...other people!

No - once attached you are no longer autonomous and they should be like everyone. Why should they be fancy free when half the world is attached. Let them detach at their peril.
