Re: Over 50's Scotland club (Part 1 )

Hi Myra you should buy some thermal underwear for the cold weather, I wear it and it helps to keep you a bit warmer. Your wee mum has the right attitude some older people just give up on life.

Re: Over 50's Scotland club (Part 1 )

good evening everybody. Snow showers here in Edinburgh this afternoon but it didn't lie on the ground. I think there is more forecast for tonight but we'll have to see. Rona you are so lucky going to nice warm Tenerife and getting away from this cauld. Myra my Ben doesn't know how to wash a dish either, wee devil, I keep telling him its not rocket science! Jess you're quite right getting a taxi home, much quicker and get back to your hoose for a heat up.

Regarding Rothesay I assume everyone is going to book their rooms under their own steam, is there any particular website or company anyone is using?

Re: Over 50's Scotland club (Part 1 )

Hi Jess and all who follow.

Lovely sunny day here, although still snow lying and it's cold.

Jess, we're off to meet Sylvia and Jimmy in Glasgow later. We haven't seen them since we all went to Pitlochry! Looking forward to catching up with them. We're going for dinner, then to The Rat Pack at the King's, then staying at the Premier Inn next door. Maybe they'll join us on another weekend sometimes. Pitlochry was great

It's Friday. Thank goodness. Glad it's the weekend. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Rona will be getting packed for her lovely sunshine holiday

We haven't book Rothesay yet, but will soon. Wonder if Ursula and Alan will join us?

Cant remember who I book Rothesay with, think I just Google Glenburn Hotel, Dorothy I can meet you somewhere and we can go down together if that helps. Think there are a few ways of booking, but they are most about the same price, so its a case of taking yer pick!!!
Enjoy your night out tonight Myra/Martin, I seen the Rat Pack a few years ago in London. I love the theatre, and have a few nights lined up.

Hi Rona, I'm just sitting ready and waiting for Craig to bring back my car! He's had it all bloomin week. Then I'm driving up to Glasgow. Yes, a wee night at the theatre is great.

I've always booked online through Shearings. It's quick and easy. I don't know if Jess is going with her family and friends, or else I'll pick her up in Paisley. Dorothy, you're welcome for a lift as well, if it helps.

Rona, enjoy your holiday. Are you all packed?
