Grape jelly

Waiting to cool off and take its place in the store cupboard are 7 pots of yummy grape jelly that Ive made with the grapes from our two little vines despite a pretty awful summer resulting in a less than bountiful harvest..

They will sit alongside the greengage jam, the redcurrent jelly, the apple jelly, and the red plum jam I've made during the last couple of weeks.. Tonight it will be the turn of the paprikas as they become paprika relish to be enjoyed on burgers or sausages all through the winter months..

Re: Grape jelly

Any chance of you posting the recipe for Grape Jelly Cass, please. It looks lovely. We have more grapes than we know what to do with!

Re: Grape jelly

Thank you Cass, do you use Jam Sugar? I've always used ordinary granulated to make Jam previously.

I must admit I buy sugar in germany where they do a lovely 3=1 type of jam sugar so thats much less sweet.

Re: Grape jelly

Grape jelly is my favorite jelly ever and I absolutely love those little jars and the lids. Nothing better than a bowl of hot cereal and toast with butter and grape jelly.
