The version in my paper today says:
"Thugs who are caught twice with corrosive substances would automatically face a jail sentence of at least 6 months under a new proposal.
It is part of a crackdown on acid attacks.
The two strikes rule, including the possibility of a suspended sentence, mirrors the regime for people convicted of more than one knife possession offence.
Home secretary Amber Rudd said "All forms of violent crime are totally unacceptable, which is why we are taking acton to crack down on those who carry acids with the intent to do harm."
