I agree, Swim.

Not all farmers own thousands of acres, employ labour and have posh cars. Most small farms only have the family to help.

I don't think so it was money paid to EU farmers not to farm in order to keep prices high and prevent butter and other ' mountains '.
It was abolished some years ago .
