They do love helping with the gardening don't they, my husband was sweeping up leaves on Saturday and much fun was had the dog rolling and leaping into the piles. I'm not convinced much really got done though

Oh they are a great help when gardening aren't they? My 11 month old Yorkie, who goes my the name of Peanut, loves it when I get out there. I pull out the weeds and he picks them up and charges off with them. So when I have finished I have to shut him in the kitchen while I go around picking up all the weeds ! but I love him dearly.

Doc, I expect you know, but please watch she doesn't pinch any and eat them.
All bulbs are poisonous.

My youngest pup ate a Daffodil and a bit of a Hyacinth not long ago, that she had dug up, and I had to take her to the vets out of hours for them to make her vomit.
She felt very sorry for herself till the next day.

'Been there done that' when planting bedding plants with Amy Doctor...

I went in to answer the phone then back out to find mangled lobelia on the lawn....

Re: pup helps with bulbs

Doctor, your thoroughly enjoyable story caused me to recall another. How fun it is to have a young pup at your feet. I started another thread, I hope you will like.
