Silly girl lol

Elsie is an oddity, the common after recent rain is as wet as its been since last winter so all the pools are filling up. Elsie has resumed her sploshing through mud with gusto, she absolutely adores a mud bath.

But one thing puzzles us her very favourite thing in the damp walks is walking into the middle of a puddle or shallowish pool and just sitting down. Water laps gently around her and she actually smiles ! Grins ear to ear in delight !

Never had one do that before. Betty hates it she tippy toes around desperately trying not to even get her feet wet. Disgusted when Elsie shakes herself off and splatters us all

Is Elsie the lab? I've got all that to come.

However, at the dog exhibition recently I saw for sale a waterproof under jacket. It covers the top part of the dog's legs, and the under belly, the worst parts for puddle splashes. Expensive, though!!

Yes Elsie's our big girl the lab, no surprise she likes water but I've never seen a dog with such a look on her face just sitting in a puddle
