Who remembers 'Tina'?

I can remember prints of Tina hanging on my grandparent's wall when I was a kid back in the early seventies. These prints were available from shops like Woolworths and were very cheap. The originals were painted by J. H. Lynch and some have appeared in films.

So does anyone else remember her?

I do ! I think my cousin had one in his room. My walls were covered in animals his in ladies in various states of undress. Beautiful in a way as most of them were artistic rather than trashy.

As I said, they were really cheap at the time but the artist must have sold thousands of them. Apparently, they are now bringing £50 -£100. I can remember seeing them at boot sales for 50p.

Re: Who remembers 'Tina'?

I vaguely remember someone having one in their living-room in the 70s.

The 'Boots type' print that I remember best was a Chinese woman with a rather green face. My dad thought she was beautiful - mother wouldn't have it in the house.

Sorry I don't recall them, but I have seen similar in the Art threads in Cheeky section.
