Yet another roast beef lunch today. Took joint from my freezer last evening to defrost. what remains of the joint after I've carved off several slices will be made into a beef stew and dumplings tomorrow.
Not sure how many peolple are coming to eat with us tonight. Could be 3, 5 or 6, so I've made a big Boeuf Bourguinon in the slow cooker. If it's only 3 of us, I'll be delighted and will eat the rest tomorrow!
Got sausages defrosting. Pity I have the dog here, I could have got the bbq out! Shingle outside my French door, so space for it, but she would yap to be let out. Damnation.
