Turkey...bad news

So far it's bad news from Turkey

Turkey election: Erdogan leads in early results - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-44596072

I was so hoping the people would see sense and vote out this prehistoric monster.
Now they could be stuck with his backward dictatorship for years to come

Re: Turkey...bad news

If he (Erdogan) gets in he will become even more of a dictator than he is now as Turkey slowly slips into a Islamic caliphate with him as the supreme leader giving himself more and more powers as he does away with parliament. Already, Turkey imprisons more journalists and academics than any other nation as the `state of emergency` continues and is used as an excuse to curtail citizen's rights.

Another puerile remark Purrs .
This is not the way if you want people to listen to you.
And you do want or you would not come onto here .

Wonder if his opponents will ask for a new vote until they get the result they want?

Hi

Turkey is under a state of emergency, Erdogan has locked up vast numbers of the opposition, made even more unemployed and controls the State Media.

Hardly a democratic vote.
