Me too!

Fed up with cords I just added a couple of tools to my cordless collection.

On the left is obviously a circular saw while on the right is one of those multitools, with a selection of blades in the box.

I already have a drill and batteries so these are handy additions. Next I want to get the reciprocating saw to (almost) complete the set.

Makita is good kit - could have done with a cordless circular saw for taking up floorboards when I was still working, the 240V effort I have is very frightening in use.

The first time I used my circular saw in `plunge` mode, it dragged me across the floor before I managed to let go of the trigger.

Had visions of getting my hand cut off.

Well size matters. Here's a big one I bought today.

I think that will do me for a while...

Re: who got a new toy then? me

I have a new toy...actually this is no toy...this is love! No power post hurricane, but fridge/freezer, chargers, and air conditioner ( 32 C forecast, humidity through the roof) are at least up and running. Yay!

It took an embarassing amount of time to get it operational though.
