A place in the garden

Quite a pleasant looking spot in our garden at this time of year:

Yes there was a thought for the wildlife Nom ..and I couldn't think of anything else to do with some laurel branches that I'd cut off.

It looks lovely Mart Those of us with gardens are very fortunate, I think they contribute greatly to our well being not least by the exercise involved in tending them .

That is a lovely place in your garden, with this nice weather you could take Mrs Mart to sit there with a glass of sparkling wine...as a treat

Re: A place in the garden

Thanks - Mrs mart is a non-drinker Twink but people have sat there having a drink or two.

I don't look after the garden all that well. Just prefer things a little on the wild and untidy side. Better for the wildlife maybe. I just keep the grass cut and that makes the garden look OK.

Re: A place in the garden

The logs made quite a good retaining wall since the garden goes slightly uphill.

It was while I was cutting the laurel bushes to a manageable size that I picked up a tick and had to go on a course of antibiotics as a precaution. Blinkin' wildlife!
