Re: A place in the garden

A bit more of the garden. Starting to look very wild in some parts, just as the birds, other wildlife and me like it. I planted some wildflower seeds all over the place earlier in the year (some in the flowerbed on the right). They are growing fast and should look good later.

Oh I say Mart, just love your garden! It's gorgeous!

But me being me, I'd be petrified of walking under the arch for fear of walking into webs - I'm such a wuss

Re: A place in the garden

I'm training a rose plant over the arch. A few buds are about to open. No webs there at the moment Pesta but lots of bees buzzing around. I spend ages watching them fairly closely. They never seem to mind being looked at.

Oh, what variety? I was looking at some roses today, there's so many varieties around.

When you sit out there relaxing, have you ever thought about recording the sounds, especially the bees buzzing and the birds singing. Summer sounds are so lovely to sit back and listen to aren't they, especially when the sun is out.

I can almost hear it all now and am waiting to smell the roses
