Life's too short to .....

I will be preparing a home-made chicken, ham and leek pie for dinner today, but wouldn't dream of making the topping -

Life's too short to .....

Make your own pastry.

Any others?

I will admit, that with the exception of suet pastry (for dumplings) I'm not that good at making short-crust pastry so tend not to.

Only ever buy puff pastry, make suet, short and sweet pastry

Lifes too short to dust daily, or even weekly. There's always dust. Minute you dust and turn around, dust has appeared again

I've found as long as you don't disturb dust it settles to its own level and becomes unnoticeable

Re: Life's too short to .....

I spend as little time preparing meals as I can get away with. I have no intention of spending more than 15 minutes preparing our main meal, which is usually a salad. The only time I do a roast is at Christmas. For years I was a slave to the stove, now I don't need to be.

I love cooking and friends and family enjoy eating what I make....... but I have to admit that I never make pastry as the ready made is always better than mine.

I rarely iron unless it is absolutely necessary. Life is far too short for that mega boring activity these days.
