I control my diabetes with diet I have never taken meds for it, I control my carbs and that really is the key for me but as I said earlier we are all not the same and what works for me may not work for you, if I took your meds they would likely not be suited to me.

Malcolm, not every one is as good as you. I have been Diabetic 28 years, inject insulin three times a day and take four Metformin, I have a very good diet and exercise, I think after 28 years I am well experienced at the subject.

I don't know the cure or the right or wrong way to treat diabetes...But I DO have a cure for a PITA.....just ignore

Julie if you don't take any prescribed medication for the condition then you do not have diabetes, you may be just about borderline but so are most of the population.
That's why I say I rest my case, having had the condition for fifteen years I know what I'm talking about !!

Now that is rubbish diabetes type two can be controlled by diet in some people it doesn't mean they are not diabetic unless you want a who has it worse competition which I am not willing to get into.
