Hi

There are sound reasons for being in the WTO.

That's because you have no imagination.

WTO Rules are solely manufactured goods and agricultural products.

One of the basic rules is most favoured nation status, what you do for one you do for all, you cannot for example have a tariff of 5% on Japanese Cars and 10% on French and German Cars.

There are things you can do to protect your own industry, using quotas, but that is different.

I think people are missing the point I am trying to make.

This not an argument against leaving, this is about the incompetence of the Government.

One of the key benefits of leaving is being able to strike our own trade deals with the rest of the world.

Not to have the trade negotiators to do this is just stupid.

Liam Fox has turned out to be a liability, his decision to just cut and paste the existing trade deals we share as part of the EU with other Countries has backfired big time.

He did not ask the Countries concerned and now complaints have been lodged at the WTO.

We need those trade negotiators now to sort out this mess, never mind strike new deals,

These deals affect 12% of our Exports, to mess them up at a stroke is an act of self harm and was totally avoidable.
You're just pissed off they haven't come begging for your help, lol!
The truth is that we aren't even talking trade yet and there are still 16 months away from finishing our 'negotiations'.

You're just impatient, is all!

Funnily enough, you get exactly the replies your smugly disparaging comments deserve.

Hi

Really?

We are already talking Trade with Non Eu Countries, that is why they have have lodged formal objections with the WTO to the existing Trade Deals we have as part of the EU.

Why should the Government come begging for me help with Trade Negotiations?

It is not my area of expertise.

My sole involvement in the event of a Hard Brexit will be certifying some Exports, in which I am qualified to do so under WTO Rules.

I shall be doing this at minimal cost for local businesses to help them out.

My area of expertise is entirely different.

I am enjoying my retirement, why on earth should I be annoyed at being offered £35 an hour to go back to work, which will affect my Pension, when I can work one day a week for £135 an hour without it affecting my Pension.

That is taxed abroad, payed by a Foreign Government, one of our Allies.

It pays for my sons medical bills, leaves me one day a week to do Voluntary Work, and the rest to do what I want.

It is not often that I respond in such a manner, but you really have no idea at all of the realities of life Moscow.

Hmmm I'm not convinced sorry, I liked the idea of setting higher standards and making others do the same to sell to us. We can make a huge difference to the world if we insist on higher standards in many things, could even stop animal abuse if we refuse to deal with countries won't stop it.

That appeals to me greatly.
