Regarding GPs on six figure salaries

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...al-figures-sh/

And dont forget that GPs can massively increase their salaries by gaining QOF points for prescribing statins, diabetes care etc.

Re: NHS Malaise

Hi

The British disease, political points scoring.

The NHS is precious, I do so wish they would all get together and agree a way forward.

NHS should be above politics IMO it's too precious to mess about left and right with. An across party topic of ever there was one.

My views exactly, Julie.

Take the NHS out of political control.

Too much meddling from each administration wanting to undo the previous administration's reforms and impose it's own ideology on the NHS is what has ruined it.

The NHS is precious.....so why do we continue to allow politicians to abuse it?

Re: NHS Malaise

The health and social care act was meant to separate the nhs from political control. It's worked out really well...

Exactly the same with education.

Politicians and senior civil servants, neither with any experience in education, poking their noses into how the state education system is run.
