They don't get jobs as managers for their language skills indeed some don't speak English at all !
It looks bad for a British person who is trying to get a job as a manager of a football club, with many tens of millions of pounds at stake, who hasn't mastered even the basics of the English language. He will sound, to educated people, like one of those in the remedial classes at school, who you would expect to have to shovel shit all day to make some sort of living.

There is only one qualification for a football team manager .
He gets them to win matches .
Nothing more nothing less.
If they win he stays
If they lose he's sacked .
And they are sacked and reemployed on a daily basis whatever language they speak.

The problem for many is they DON'T get the jobs to start with. And those that do get the jobs complain they can't get the big jobs (because they are English).
