Sorry to see that skean dhu knives are not listed in acceptable knives to carry/wear. They are part of Scottish national dress, and I have one that came with my kilt and associated items.

I suppose that would explain why they can be bought without blades just for appearance.

Actually, I never wear mine when dressing up as I always suspected I might be pulled up for it.

I'm thinking of becoming a Sikh! I might get away with it then.
