Re: Lazy thread openings

Im not a prolific poster on here myself either May I used to start several threads many moons ago now but nowadays just find myself reading from the sidelines which suits me right now.

Re: Lazy thread openings

I tend to view the forum as a place to discuss things so if somebody reads a link that interests them enough to post it, surely they would add their own comments?

I prefer to know what the link is all about, sometimes they are not easy to access.

Re: Lazy thread openings

Let's be honest, it depends on the poster. If it's just a link to a fluffy kitten video then that's fine but we know the ones that trawl the internet looking for dirt to post and they don't have time to comment or even return to their own thread sometimes because they are too busy looking for the next bit of dirt.

Some just cast pebbles in the lake, who knows when ripples will overlap.

Re: Lazy thread openings

Most of us know the posters on here and who's topics are worth clicking on.

Like other members have said there are those I bother to open and those I don't but at the end of the day a Forum needs topics to suit all taste.
