Re: Making my doctors appointment

Here we can call in the clinic any time to make an appointment, or phone. When you go for your appointment if the doctor wants to see you again he/she makes the appointment for you, one click on the doctorīs computer and itīs sorted. I guess we are very lucky, so far we have no hassles with appointments. Our clinic is always open, during the night there is always a paramedic on duty, he can either treat you or send you to the hospital.

Bet it's the same people taking up all the appointments. They never fail.

And many of them have on going problems or are being called in to see the GP for various checks. I know preventive medicine is best but they seem to be trying to do that now and forgetting those it is too late for. Perhaps we need two tier system and have routine checks done away from the budget for sick people who are not able to get appointments.

Re: Making my doctors appointment

I just get on me bike and cycle the one and a half miles to the docīs. Walk if the weatherīs a bit iffy. Good for the health and cuts out the frustration of not getting through on the phone.
