Can't Let Go

What is something you hold to and cannot seem to let go of despite it being ridculous, taking up too much room, or driving your family/partner/spouse crazy?

The couple next door just got into a very funny row...

The husband has a giant, hideous, partially broken, paint-faded ceramic goat that he keeps in the garden that goes back to some antics during his college days. His wife and the neighborhood association hate it. He says it has a history, personality and it would be cruel to dispose of it. I find it hilarious that everyone gets so upset about it...

I like it !
I have a large black and white pig in the garden it has a hole in its side ( i keep meaning to fix it ) courtesy of my grandchildren and a football.
I will never get rid of it.

Wood!

I can't resist keeping off cuts of wood just in case it comes in useful. My shed is full of it but I just will not throw it out.

Good idea for a thread

Hundreds of music concert t shirts. Most of them I never wear but I can't throw away because of the memories. My wife keeps telling me to put them into storage boxes and get them out of the way as they are "clutter". I explain that they are not and are historical artefacts.

Mrs Fox reckons that I should update my wardrobe (closet) but there is nothing wrong with my winkle pickers and bell bottom trousers......My hipsters feel uncomfortable though these days....

My outhouse and storage cupboards are full! You can bet your socks that if you get rid of stuff, you'll need it!

I made a vow to throw out 12 things a day -saw the hint in some trashy paper .

Today I emptied the bathroom waste bin ( it has at least 10 tissues and two loo roll empties in it )
