Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Last Tango it was really busy here yesterday, always is when the sun shines. There is a new fish and chip shop opened on the front and they are really good. They opened last year and have won all kinds of awards, they did a charity night for the fishing boat Nancy Glen and raised over £2,ooo pounds. No snow here so far and I hope it stays away.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good Morning Each,a bit chilly here with a few wee snow flurries but sunny and bright,Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning All A bit of snow here but not as much as I thought there would be. But OMG it's brass monkeys outside, even Dageus seemed glad to be heading back to the car after our (shorter than usual) walk in the woods earlier. Going to make a big pot of lentil soup this afternoon, he likes soup when he comes in from the fields and is blue with the cold....poor wee soul lol.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good morning Each, snow snow snow everywhere and a bitterly cold wind as well...I'm so glad Linda made it Home ok yesterday though Her train from London to Deal was cancelled so She had some bother there.....No trains running here today, schools closed too,I'm supposed to get a delivery from Argos but I doubt They'll make it up the Ave',so we'll be snowed in for some time, take care Folks and stay warm and cosy at home.xxRe: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning All Well I see we've been moved up to Red Alert for the weather. WOW That's a first.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Afternoon Folks, well it's snowing heavily again here and I've not ever seen a red alert warning either,so I guess it's to become worse as the days go on...Son & SIL are supposed to be coming to take My old suite away in the next couple of days as the new one arrives on Monday..crossing My fingers They can get here before then...a very hot chicken curry's cooking away nicely on the stove for My dinner...it's as quiet as the grave here as nothing/no-one's around...catch Ye all later,x
