Yes I am really pleased with it. I was previously using a Nikon Coolpix but wanted something with a better zoom for our trip to Eire last year in case we came across any whales or dolphins. Alas we saw none but I was still impressed with some of the shots I was able to make.
It has a 35X optical zoom, and in certain modes has a reasonable digital zoom as well. My favourite feature is the rapid repeater function, a bit like the old power winder function on film cameras.
I was also pleased when I bought it to find it was 20 quid cheaper at checkout than the display price bringing it in under £130. It's a perfect size to put in a trousers pocket, provided I remember to take it with me when I go out.
Although it doesn't have a spare battery or charger, it can be charged from a USB port so I can charge it virtually anywhere from the mains, in the car, or from my laptop.
My main problems with it are that most of the garden shots are through glass, and I sometimes have an uncontrollable shake due to my meds.
