Last year I spent Sunday mornings getting up when it was still dark and walking across a soggy field to feed and water the pigs. After making sure they were fed, watered and their pen cleaned out, I could go home for my breakfast.

Well, now it's my turn. Roast Saddleback pork with spiced chard (from our garden), roast veges and potatoes for dinner today. You can't beat the taste of outdoor reared rare breed pork.
