Not another one??? - this is getting monotoneous

Yet another scumbag 'nasty party' member is being interviewed by Police for alleged fraud and false accounting on his 'expenses' claims.

Has been for some years.
Douglas Hogg, a former Conservative Cabinet minister, included with his expenses claims the cost of having the moat cleared, piano tuned and stable lights fixed at his country manor house.

An obviously appropriate name - son of Quentin no doubt.

As Besoeker says, it's been going on for some years and no matter how much you try to pin it on the Conservatives it is a cross party matter.

Yes it has been going on for years - there was John Profumo
who was caught in a compromising position and then lied to Parliament, triggering a judicial enquiry headed by Lord Donovan and was the principle cause of the fall of the MacMillan Government. Then there was Jonathan Aitken, a cabinet Minister in the wicked witch of the West's government, who was caught with sticky fingers and then lied on oath in court about it - he served a prison sentence for doing so, then there was the Mohammed Al Fayed scandal under John Major's premiership where a number of scumbag 'nasty party MPs were caught taking bribes to ask Parliamentary questions, that neo-fascist scumbag Neil Hamilton actually 'lost' his seat over this.

Strange to tell, but they are or were at the time all members of the scumbag 'nasty party in three different scumbag 'nasty party' governments.

Don't think that Profumo was accused of fraude or false accounting.

In my job I travelled widely. That incurred expenses some of which were funded from my own pocket. I got reimbursed but only after I provided documentation and justification for the expenditure.

At a far more stringent level that MPs get away with.
