Re: It Aint Arf HOT Mum

I love the weather but I can understand why some wouldn't if they have breathing problems. Get one of those that UJ suggested, sounds ok x

A decent fan blowing over a saucepan full of ice does the trick for me.

Drink water constantly to be free from dehydration and to keep the oxygen levels up in your head and bloodstream. Iced lemon tea is particularly refreshing. Avoid coffee in hot weather, tea is naturally better at quenching the thirst.

As already said, sweating profusely is meant to be good for you as it keeps you cool. Wiping it away merely makes you seat more, but if you don't get rid of it it's so uncomfortably and irritates, so you can't win tbh.

To aid in sleeping, place a towel on your pillowcase as the wool will soak up sweat that cotton doesn't, therefore it will be easier to sleep.
