Should suit you better than me, though I don't do badly on the 50's, think most of the artists then were American & in our pop charts.

60s and 70s although there has been a lot of good music from 2000 onwards.

Well, my preferences are before my time really.
The influences of music choice from my BIL, who introduced me to Soul and Motown. No favourite groups for me, I prefer solo artists.

70s without a doubt. I have such fond memories of the 70s and music. I was listening to it at work today, my young colleagues were singing along too!!

That's the thing isn't it. We can still remember the words to songs from forty odd years ago. Try singing along to someone like Stormzy or Plan B.

Being an old head-I love the sounds from the[50's-60's-70's-80's]but I'm not so closeminded that I don't dig some of today's sounds,but not much of it.
