Brexit and the EU

Hi

Brexit is a huge thing here in the UK.

It dominates our Media, claim and counter claim, divided Tories and Labour.

The EU has it's own problems with the Trade War with Trump, the rise of Anti Immigration and many Countries simple fed up of the antics of Juncker and Co to increase Federalisation.

Merkel is in serious trouble.

It is not going to split up, but it is going to change.

There are simply too many Countries saying no to Brussels.

The Media Reports in EU Countries are very different to those in the UK.

They are simply mystified that, this far down the line, we have not even published the White Paper laying out what we want in terms of a Trade Deal and a Future Relationship.

Brexit is no longer a big thing with them, what will be will be is the attitude.

We can either take their offer or we bounce out in March next year and go our own way.

They are far more concerned with getting the Trade Deals with Canada, Japan and South Korea finalised.

We will no longer be part of them or any of the other Trade Deals we had as part of the EU.

They have bigger fish to fry and their focus is on them, not us.

A Hard Brexit is looming, out in March next year, no Transition, nothing.

It is what the Brexiteers want, they will give us it.

Just my point of view, I may be wrong, however the EU will look after itself, not us.

Yes, so you've told us on numerous occasions ad nauseum!

I'm listening to Theresa May on The Andrew Marr show now and she paints a far clearer and more positive picture than you.

I trust her analysis more than I trust yours.

Re: Brexit and the EU

Over here no one gives a toss about Brexit.

It's like you aren't in the EU anymore. You are a third country whose voice is seldom heard.

You will go thru the motions and take what you are given.

It was predicted.

Hi

We have chosen to Leave, our choice, our decision.

The EU is much bigger than we are, we are going to be a Third Country.

So what?

It was always going to hurt short term, we can live with that.

We are being played for Idiots by Ireland, Varadkar has a Veto and is playing us for Idiots.

I will not have a Nation of less than 5 Million dictating to us.

He can Swan Off, keep on doing it and we will destroy you and your Economy completely.

No more Common Travel Area, all Irish Citizens working here will need a Visa.

Any Border Control in Ireland will be your choice, not ours.

I despair of our Politicians, I really do.

He needs to be taught the facts of life and told to back off, if he does not, Ireland will be partitioned big time and it would all be down to him.

He would not survive the backlash.

Hi

I know you do.

Such is life, we will never agree and one of us will be able to say told you so at the end of it.

No one is playing you for anything except the Brexit Brotherhood who are set to make fortunes when your economy goes tits up. They did it when the pound tanked and they will do it again when your economy tanks.
Two people made a promise of No Border to Ireland. The UK and the EU.
and you should have thought of this when you arrogantly thumbed your nose at the EU as you are still doing. What did you think would happen???

How can you destroy what will be left of your economy? Why should the Irish want to work in the UK when they can work in 26 other countries??

Ireland won't be partitioned. It will trade out of Cork and directly into the EU, bypassing the UK. The routes have already been set up.

I detect a note of desperation SF.
