They are fiery people but they are mainly Buddhists and very spiritual.

It certainly is good news. They said originally that the rescue could take months.

What do you think, will they just chalk it up to Kharma (sp?)?

That would be a but harsh, a trip out that turned bad not because of a bad decision but unexpected weather.

Same here, May. I asked that question about 50 posts ago because I couldn't understand what they were doing down there in the first place.

Also, not just why were they there, but how did they get in there?
Was it dry then? Were they able to just walk in, then the water came afterwards?
I don't understand this part at all.

They went in to write their names on the cave walls.

Apparantly it's a local ritual.

The rains fell and cut them off.

The young coach should be considered one of the heroes of this story. He's kept them together, kept their spirits up, taught them meditation drills to keep them calm and given his food to them and denied himself food.
Reports say he is the weakest of the group.

His life story is one of loss and tragedy and selfless dedication to others.

His story, if you bother to learn it, will make you question the value of your own life and your own contribution to the world and whether you are even worthy enough to doubt the man.
