Ever notice that it's always the guys who have their shirts off?

There are actually federal laws over here making it illegal to drape the flag around oneself (as athletes sometime do), wear it fashioned into clothing, hang it across a ceiling, etc. It's not exactly well-enforced....

Are there similar laws in the UK?

I dont believe there is any law against wearing a British flag SM, I could be wrong - it has been known.

I certainly know that in the US the flag should not be used in the manner you describe. I also know that old and tattered Stars and Stripes are burned in a ceremonay, not just binned.
