Cattery history

When we took the above over it was run down. Starting with the cattery it was only half that length, this end was an old garage type building with birds flying in/out and an old fuse box with no lid and a birds nest on top. outside was all rubble this end. also 6 rickety home made cat pens.
So I pulled down the old building and extended the exisiting, reroofed the whole lot . Apart from that added power points in each pen and at the end, put in new trip fusebox and replaced lighting. added an alarm system and a new electric water heater. Outside removed rubble and turfed.

That was just part of what needed doing

Kennel history, and what a load of work there

starting off with the kennel blocks. removed all old iron work bars inside and out and replaced with mesh panels. wiring ,well bare wires the old insulation hard broken away, so complete new wiring including new trip fuse box. Built dividing walls in one block and added power points throughout every kennel.
knocked out a "Blind" kennel and built a chemical storage shed in its place. refurbished completely the kennel kitchen , had the floors tiled and new kitchen window, Then added an alarm system and also flood lighting everywhere on sensors, also CCTV throughout.

This had 3/4 ft of dirty straw he kept is goats in, so that had to be dug out
Then the refurb as in the photo with new wall and floor tiles

I built a walk in/over dog shower unit. Again new electric and water heater and another trip fuse box. Yes retiled and overhead track power for hair dryer so lno trailing leads.

Also the block of 4 overrun kennels needed the same and the very large kennel needed floor tiling and a lot of attention to get it right.

eventually manage to get around to replacing the old front wall. One good push and it all fell down

The new owners had done more alterations since we left but the above is how we left it
