Labour Party to bail out May???

I bet this is sticking in her craw no end. Because of the civil war raging amongst the scumbag 'nasty party', the evil witch is having to go 'cap in hand' to Labour opposition MPs to bail her out.

Oh my, you couldn't make it up. This Brexit is a total horlicks from start to finish. I wonder who will be next to chuck his/her toys out of the pram. I know it's a really serious matter and I shouldn't laugh But......

Tories /Labour, all part of an establishment that has lost its way, and are no longer representative of the people, which ever has its snout in the trough.

Brexit is so huge and complicated it should have been dealt with by an all party focus group from the start. I think this would have saved a lot of this bickering and trying to score points and distrupting the process.
I would be much happier if it hadn't been used to placate the Tories who voted remain.
It's a total shambles, Parliament need to forgo their summer break and get their heads together to sort it out before the whole thing collapses, that will help no one!

Hi

Exactly TessA.

We pay them to look after us, not themselves.

Dead right....
The old boys network will make sure things won't change....it might affect their knighthoods and cottage in the Cotswolds.
'Yes Minister' was very near the truth.

Re: Labour Party to bail out May???

Yes, I go along with the comments by Tessa, Poohdog, Swimfeeders, and others on this and other threads
Not only here, but in the papers, and even the BBC people are fed up with the delays and shambles that is Brexit

Among my friends that goes for those that voted Leave, and also some who are Remainers

This is due to, or certainly not helped by, the fact that we have the weakest and most inept government we've had for decades
Most MPs & civil servants, even May, are Remainers.

I am definitely of the opinion that they thought that if the negotiations dragged on long enough we would all get tired and they could get away with the weakest, token Brexit and no - one would notice
But it has backfired and people are getting annoyed & impatient

We should have subcontracted the whole negotiations to Trump & Farage

Farage is considering putting himself forward for leader of UKIP again at the next leadership election.

Do you not think that Trump might have actually strengthened May's hand by his criticism? We know from this forum how the British gang together if anybody from outside says anything which could be construed as even mildly critical.

Trump has just barged in on the May/Johnson leadership issue and followed this up saying that if the proposed EU deal goes through then there will be no US/UK Trade deal.

I suspect that this 'foreign' interference might have the same effect as the myth of EU Banana regulations and unite the country behind May no matter what she proposes.
