Iconic meeting of foreign ministers?

what warm words were spoken by your foreign minister Jeremy Hunt and ours Julie Bishop Minister for foreign affairs - a rather more becoming title perhaps?

they compliment each other and each others country with little squeals from the oz minister of defense from the sidelines.

but reading between the lines that we have to do isn't it all about dragging UK into the South Pacific to protect liberty in the area and warn off the mighty Chinese dragon or is that panda??

I am surprised. I didn't think the Aussies liked little old backward Britain.

Re: Iconic meeting of foreign ministers?

we are not exactly a global superpower are we, our ‘new ships’ are unable to operate in warmer waters.
They are all parked up getting repaired anyway.
I remember the good old days when we would send a gunboat to sort out the fuzzie wuzzies when they got restless

Sensitive, delicate little flowers these British now...

Oh! hang on, wasn't it Britain that said, "F$%k off you Commonwealth bastards, we're part of Europe now, we don't want your cheap meat and dairy or your cheap minerals and fuels; we're mates with the French and Germans now so you can bugger off"?

Never mind, we can be magnanimous, you want free trade? we're listening.
