How Do You Pronounce The Name "Putin"?

Is it like it used to be: Pew-tin (like a pew in church)?

Or Poo-tin (like a poo in a potty)?

These days more people now say poo-tin like the Americans do.

I have always heard him referred to as Poo-tin.
