I agree Ted. Looks like it's a vote if no confidence.

Corbyn has to give a free vote to his party or he faces even more criticism. He knows that his party has a chance to get rid of him as leader of the opposition and if they do get the chance they will jump at it

For the electorate the question is simple. What is the biggest threat to our country ... ?

A no deal Brexit or

Corbyn as PM

It's a bit of a no brainer the greens the SNP and the independents could make all the difference.

Re: Boris Speaking today in Parliament

This is a master stroke by the PM. He knows the opposition want him out so he is baiting them by basically saying 'if you want me out, put forward a vote of no confidence, if you want me out, agree to an election' but no one is prepared to do so. Labour are running 3rd in the majority of polls, also remember the recent by election where the Brexit party won, this is also playing at the mind of Jeremy Corbyn which is why he does not want a general election because he knows Labour stands no chance of winning.

Even now, listen to that plonker Corbyn speak, it's just complete hot air because no matter how much he berates Mr Johnson, Corbyn has already stated he will not support a vote for a general election and he will not support a vote of no confidence. Boris has the strongest hand here and he's played it, if they want him out, they got to have the guts to do what they know must be done.

Update: Have been reading many of the tweets coming from many of the opposition MP's and it's just a complete comedy seeing what they say about Boris Johnson and yet all of them have forgotten that with today it now makes THREE times the PM has said lets have an election so the people of the country can decide and each time the opposition has rubbished the idea.

Lets say that again, a general election to solve the deadlock and put the decision of Brexit back to the people has now been offered a total of THREE times!!!by the PM but because it does not suit the opposition's game plan, all of them have said no to a general election. Are they so stupid to not understand what they have done, they have basically said we will not allow the public to decide brexit via a general election, it will be us, the MP's who decide.

Mrs May held an election to sort out Brexit, that went well didn't it?
When there is an election, presumably all the things Boris pretends to be interested in (Health, Education, Policing etc,) will be scrubbed from the manifesto to make sure the public know they are only voting on Brexit.

The public already know that BrExit is now the only issue at stake. Everything else falls into utter insignificance.

Not because of the fact that we need to get out of the EU as fast as humanly possible, but more because it is a fundamental issue of democracy.

Unless and until parliament deliver on the mandate to remove us from the EU, there is no parliament. It is nothing but a farce, no matter who is in power. BrExit HAS to be delivered. Until it is, parliament is effectively dead, democracy is effectively dead and we have a tyranny.

The establishment has had 3 years to accede to the wishes of the UK people and has thus far refused to do so. Those 3 years have been conflict free.

That situation I feel sure will be coming to an end in the near future.

The farcical ruling of the Supreme Court has crossed a line.

The establishment has essentially stood up and brazenly faced the nation and said "to hell with you, we run the show, we don't care about your vote and you can't stop us you snotty grubby little people"

One can therefore only expect a cessation of the former lack of action by the 17.4m (and likely now many more) BrExiteers.

A "British Spring" is now very much on the cards.

Well according to Laura Kuenssberg the Beeb's left-wing mouthpiece, he did.

Dead right Dodge, l think Boris AND his bparty have converted
what should have been a heavy defeat into a minor victory!
I am quite impressed with his resilience under extreme
pressure and provocation?
However he has further hurdles to jump and is likely to get
more as the moronic opposition does not seem to learn by
its mistakes

Well go and tell Boris to stop posing around the Country with herds of cows, classes full of schoolchildren, rows of Policemen, and other well-worn electioneering photo-ops, because he insisted again in his speech today that he wants to get on with all those other things. Or was he lying?

By the way, getting out of the EU as fast as humanly possible isn't a fact.
