Doctor rang yesterday confirming that I had food poisioning.Public Health will have to be informed,they will phone me to get details of where and when I contracted it.
Did go shopping this morning to see what I fancied to eat,baked potatoes won!

Couple of strange days, where the cardi has been on and off several times. Today has settled to a heat wave! We've been on the patio nearly all day and for once it's really comfortable in my sitting room (faces north).

Having terrible trouble with my Kindle Fire tablet, it's refusing to charge. Maybe the cable I suppose, though this is the second one I've had. DIL is going to look out an old one of hers. Otherwise I suppose I shall have to buy yet another..... Grrrr !!!

Thunder and lighting woke me up at 2.30 this morning,luckily it didn't last long.It's dry this morning and not so muggy.
£80 for repairs Jac-ouch.You think that it's an ok money month and then some unexpected bill turns up-it happens often in my case!

I've spent £80 today as well Jac! Had my car valeted, inside and out and waxed! Took the guy 4 hours and it looks absolutely wonderful.... only drawback is that the upholstery is still slightly damp and I can't leave the doors open for it to air 'cos it's started raining!
