There was some hill-racing taking place while we were in Guernsey and this is one of the motors taking part.
My plum tree is excelling itself this year, the quantity and quality is about the best it's ever been.

Good morning everyone, another pleasant day in prospect weatherwise so we may go to the local food festival for a couple of hours later on.

Good news about the plums Alan, they are a most fickle crop I know. In the garden of our new bungalow there is an old greengage tree which is absolutely laden, although a lot of the fruit is grubbed. I really must spray it next spring at blossom drop.

My son is still in the hospital as he now has an infection
and being treated with antibiotics. So fingers crossed
he can come out soon. Already been in 6 days and it was
hopefully going to be only 3 or 4.
Things never go to plan do they?

Thanks Patsy. Its been one thing and then another
unfortunately. Luckily he is a strong lad so hoping
his immune system kills the baddies he has got.
Hospitals are the worse place to be for germs and virus.
