PUG you have made my day by taking me back to my apprentice days in GRACE BROS Emporium in Streatham where I spent many happy hours serving the local hoi poloi with their haberdashery requisites.
All classes came in, dear Madame Fifi who travelled all the way from Marble Arch for our specially weighted tassels for her girls.
The toffs came in mean as ever, trying to entice me to slip them an extra 9 inches gratis. I'm sorry I told them. I have to consider shrinkage & offered them 6 inches as long as they paid.
But I digress.

Umm....that'll be mostly my fault,RJ....sorry,mate.
A boring day doing sfa,other than wait for some news.
So I took my guitar to the beach [it's not far]
Where I sat down and played me some blues.
Then,pooches & I,we all wandered back home
Still waiting to hear that special ring-tone.
I got gumbud & pooches mixed up in my mind;
I hugged the pooches-but gave gumbud a bone.
Oh,dear,goodness me,
a catastrophe!
I prayed for help,from the good God above.
But it's turned out ok,
good news arrived today..
...yep - gumbud & I are in love!
