I have known my missus since she we were children on our street and I have always called her Philly, she calls me Jimmy, she knows I can’t stand “Jim”. None of your "babe" of "baby nonsense.
I used to know a glazier chap named Delaney, he always called his wife “Lady Delaney” even though they were as poor as a church mice, touching don’t you think?
Well it seems RJ has come to a decision, so be it, we're all free to come and go as we see fit, and then there were five.

You Jem are the same as me, in that we met our spouses as children. A whole history is part of our lives, I find that very comforting. When hubby needs a haircut, I call him Dougal, like the dog on the Magic Roundabout. He has only ever called me by my name, or sometimes sweetheart when he wants something.
